Motility & Concentration

The motility and Concentration module of our Sperm Intelligent Analyzer SIA® lab and SIA® lab plus CASA system is designed to accurately track and analyze the movement patterns of sperm cells and allows for precise determination of sperm concentration in each semen sample. It can classify motility into fast progressive, slow progressive, non-progressive and immotile categories.

Vitality

The vitality module of our Sperm Intelligent Analyser SIA® lab and SIA® lab plus CASA system enables the evaluation of sperm cell viability. It determines the percentage of live sperm cells versus dead cells in the sample. It is recommended for samples having less than 40% total motility.

Morphology

The morphology module of our Sperm Intelligent Analyser SIA® lab and SIA® lab plus CASA system analyzes the structural characteristics of sperm cells. Using sophisticated algorithms, the module examines various parameters, such as head shape, midpiece defects, tail integrity, acrosome and vacuole. Spermatozoa are classified as Typical or Abnormal.

Leukocyte

The leukocyte module of our Sperm Intelligent Analyser SIA® lab and SIA® lab plus CASA system analyze peroxidase activity in semen samples produced by white blood cells (leukocytes). This information aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as infection, inflammation, or immune-related issues that may affect male fertility. This test is recommended for samples having more than 1 M/ml round cells.

Compatible with Leukoscreen stain in brightfield.

DNA Fragmentation

The DNA fragmentation module of our Sperm Intelligent Analyser SIA® lab and SIA® lab plus CASA system analyses fragmented and non-fragmented spermatozoa with Sperm Chromatin Dispersion (SCD) test. It assesses the integrity of sperm DNA, detecting if apoptosis has occurred in the spermatozoa.

Compatible with Halosperm stain in brightfield.

WHO guidelines

Based on latest technologies of Artificial Intelligence, Sperm Intelligent Analyser SIA® lab and SIA® lab plus are CASA systems for the analysis of semen following WHO laboratory manual 6th edition criteria.

Heating stage

OPTOHEAT is a temperature control stage that allows to keep the sample at the optimum temperature 37°C during the analysis for an accurate assessment of motility.

The combination of Clever30 microscope and Optoscam40 camera in our SIA lab and SIA lab plus provide you outstanding optical performance ideal for assessing all sperm details.

Customized Report

SIA lab and SIA lab plus give you the ability to customize the report by adding your logo and lab’s informations on the header or the footer. The semen analysis results are displayed in a user-friendly report appreciated by doctors.
